September/October 2017 Issue

Letter From The Editor: September/October 2017

Parents: Since we love our children with our whole hearts, some of us worry about their health. When they’re babies or toddlers, we often stay awake at night worrying over the cries of illness and hurt our young kids aren’t old enough yet to communicate to us. On the front lines of battling these worries are pediatricians, and even before that, obstetricians. In her column this month, Antje Hill will pay tribute to these very important people.

Another special feature of this issue is contributor Melody Dixon’s interview with the head of the Sunflower County Freedom Project, designed to set kids on a path to educational success.

We hope you enjoy the cooler temperatures of fall. Have a wonderful season filled with fall color and Halloween fun!
